The effects of a divorce/breakup are ongoing, some good some bad. It’s not just a word, it’s a process that definitely involves change and growth. It almost feels like a metamorphosis to me and now I’m at the butterfly stage enjoying life. “Enjoy Living” has been my consistent mantra and I’ve been living up to […]

Camila Alves if quickly becoming one of my fave LA mommies. The Brazillian beauty kills it on the red carpet. She looks amazing casual chic also. It’s no shocker she makes motherhood look so sexy too. Her little baby bump is what my stomach looks like after I’ve had a cheeseburger and cupcake. Sporting a […]
People give me a hard time because I dress my boys alike. Sometimes I do it on purpose, sometimes, it’s subconsciously. Sometimes, I even get in on the action. #Triplets My boys are 4 years apart. Mo is 8, B is 4. I don’t know why I do it. I’ve always thought dressing twins alike […]
Matthew McConaughy, star of one of my fave movies, Sweet Home Alabama, weds gorgeous Brazillian model/Red Carpet show stopper Camila Alves. Ken and Barbie have been together for 6 years, and have 2 incredibly beautiful children: Son Levi, age 4 and daughter Vida age 2. McConaughey, 42, and Alves, 29 wed in a private ceremony in […]
I am crazy about my kids. When they work hard for something and accomplish it, I am their #1 cheerleader. Don’t even get me started on Mo’s soccer games. I am up on my feet the entire game cheering like I’m at a Mariah Carey concert. I can’t even imagine their high school graduation…which is […]
Justin Combs, son of rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and celeb stylist Misa Hylton has signed a national letter of intent to play football for UCLA on a full scholarship. Memorial Day is a day of remembrance and respect for those that have died serving our nation.
To help re-educate and remind Americans of the true meaning of Memorial Day, the “National Moment of Remembrance” resolution was passed on Dec 2000 which asks that at 3 p.m. local time, for all Americans “To voluntarily and informally observe in their own way a Moment of remembrance and respect, pausing from whatever they are doing for a moment of silence or listening to ‘Taps.”
As a mom, my heart goes out the many moms that have children in the armed forces as well as the many moms serving our country.
Recently, Army Specialist Zachary Boyd, 19, of Fort Worth, Texas, was photographed in his pink “I Love NY” boxers and flip flops. He rushed from his sleeping quarters on to join fellow platoon members at a base in Afghanistan’s Kunar Province after the unit came under fire from Taliban positions.
These men and women have so much pride, honor, courage, and integrity.
No matter what your stance is on the war, or your political affiliation, please take a moment to remember and honor those that have died fighting for our many freedoms.
A special Memorial Day honor to my dad, Retired Reserve Army Lt. Colonel Gus Strassburger and one of my BFF’s (and Hot Mama) Air Force Major L.B Slade.
