I had a great time working with the Bank of America team for Habitat For Humanity Los Angeles. It was filled with music, food, hard hats, hammers, tool belts, and pink shirts. It was pretty, pink & powerful.
They put on a great event for women in Hollywood. HabitatLA President and CEO, Erin Rank was actively motivating alongside hundreds of women.
Our diverse group of entertainers, moms, entrepreneurs and working women collaborated to help build two homes for deserving families in Inglewood, CA.
The slogan for the day was, Power Women, Power Tools. I guess when they say “A woman’s place is in the home” it means building the house…:)
In addition to learning how to hammer nails and build walls, I was inspired by a great group of women. The best part was being able to take my 11 year old son to witness women at work making a difference.
