Fresh Pressed Juice

PicsArt_1360687325284-1I love when I find new kid friendly places.

Totes recently opened and it’s a great spot for everyone. They tout all fresh hand-pressed juices bottled daily.

Owner Chelsea (CeCe) Vudmaska-Guttierez greeted us with a nice smile bright and early at 7:30 AM (yes, I’m an early bird). Even though Mo and B kept shouting they wanted strawberry banana smoothies, she was super sweet and let them sample the juices she had while educating them on all the ingredients.

The juices have fun names and are a mix of things you probably like along with some yucky things your body prolly needs.

They come in cute 12 oz and 16 oz bottles made with all organic fruits and veggies using  reverse osmosis water. The produce is even cleaned with this water. Former 2nd grade teacher Chelsea doesn’t play that!!!

We decided on:

Skinny Cosmo-Aids liver in flushing out excess fat from body

Organic cranberries, Flax Seed, Organic Lemon, Reverse Osmosis Water

The Verde– Antioxicant, excellent source of chlorophyll

Organic Kale, Organic Green Apple, Organic Lime, Organic Spinach, Organic Romaine, Organic Cucumber

There’s a chalkboard for kids to draw on and Chelsea gave the boys a coloring ditto with nutritional information. Totes also offers free water (the reverse osmosis good stuff) that you can fill a water bottle or sip warm with lemon.

Hopefully a few more trips to Totes will convince the boys that Strawberry Twizzlers aren’t really fruit, plus it’s a great way to get the boys to eat their green yucky veggies.

Chelsea grew up juicing and maybe I can add it to the boys’ diet as well.

Check out the Totes website and Facebook page for more info.
