Wigs for Kids recently tweeted that Cam cut his hair off and donated it their organization.
Wigs for Kids provides no cost custom hair replacements to children who lose their hair due to illness, medical treatment or burn accidents.
ANYONE who donate’s their hair to Wigs for Kids between September 8 and October 8 will receive a free autographed photo of Newton!!
Plus anyone who donates over $100 dollars has a chance to win a signed jersey, a signed football or a pair of lower level Panthers tickets.
Cam has not cut his hair since the last game of the 2011-12 season. This has been an off-season ritual that Cam has used to maintain focus on the daily progression of preparing for the next season and has continued the tradition to support Wigs for Kids!
I wish I would have known about Wigs for Kids when I chopped 5 inches of my hair off. 🙁 I’ll definitely send my locks their way next time.
Way to go Cam!! Keep making the SEC and Atlanta proud. 🙂
