Parents, infomercials don’t just get us, they get our kids too.
My kids have ogled over the Snuggie, Bendaroos, Statue of Liberty Chia Pet, Fuzzoodles, Moon Sand…the list goes on and on.
One product I was actually curious about was Slushy Magic, when I saw it at Target, I had to try it…for the kids, of course.
Mo was nursing his casted ankle, so when he awoke to see Slushy Magic, it was almost better than Christmas! He was screaming with joy.
Even if it didn’t work, that smile alone made the $15 well spent.
But guess what, IT WORKS!
Slushy Magic is super easy. Kids truly can do it all by themselves.
Put the ice cube things in the freezer, when they’re frozen, add them to the cup, pour in your have drink, put lid on, cover the hole on top, shake for 1-2 minutes (now I sound like the infomercial).
The key is the shaking.
It’s a little strange seeing your kid doing that jerk off movement for a few minutes, but it’s actually the key to the slushiness.
We used part orange juice, part vanilla yogurt. It tasted like a creamsicle.
The only thing is that if you don’t eat immediately, it starts to lose the slushiness and go back to a liquid. So eat quickly.
I’m very pleased. Now we can cuddle under the Snuggie while enjoying Slushy Magic!
