Bullied Grandma Bus Monitor

I’ve gotten in 1 school fight in my life. It was on the school bus. I’ll never forget it.

The school bully, Crystal was picking on a younger girl named Janelle. I don’t know what came over me, but I just felt the need to intervene as Janelle sat in tears.

Me and Crystal ended up fighting (little Janelle didn’t even help me! lol). I got kicked off the bus.

I’ve always had a soft heart for an underdog.

One thing I can’t stand is a bully. My heart always goes out to a victim of bullying.

It seems bullies are everywhere and target everyone, from NBA players to NFL stars, to my son.

No one is exempt, apparently, not even Grandmas.

Karen Klein, a 68-year-old grandmother of 8 got national attention after a video of 7th grade assholes boys taunting her in Greece, N.Y went viral.

Karen is a bus monitor. One of  the students filmed the verbal attack saying he wanted to send the video in to popular show Tosh.O.

I couldn’t even watch the entire video. I was in tears. It broke my heart to hear kids so disrespectful and hurtful.

They were calling this woman a troll, fat, ugly. One student said he was gonna come to her house and piss all over it.

Another lil biatch ass kid said if he stabbed Klein in the stomach, “my knife would go through you like butter because it’s all [expletive] lard.”

The video really is hard to watch.

After the video went viral, an outpour of support for Karen came flooding in. A website was set up by a bullied immigrant in an attempt to raise $5,000 to send Grandma K on a vacation.

After just 48 hours, over half a million dollars was raised for her.

Disneyland stepped in and offered her a free trip.

Southwest Airlines donated flights for her and family members.

Karen has been so gracious but I’m sure nothing can erase the pain and hurtful remarks from that bus ride.

Parents, PUHLEEEASE educate your kids about bullying. The effects are so strong.

The National Bullying Prevention Center has great info.
