Keeping Up With The Kids

Forget keeping up with the Joneses…I’m just trying to keep up with this generation!

As a mom, I try to stay current on social media and what’s hot with kids.

I don’t wanna be that outdated, out of touch mom.

I have a Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, Draw Something, Instagram…Oh my, no wonder I never get anything done!!!

Recently, I’ve been getting into what the kids are enjoying.

I’ve seen all the Twillight movies, and just finished reading The Hungry Games trilogy. (BTW, Katniss rocks!)

So…now I think it’s mommy time. I love to read and all the moms seem to be reading, “Fifty Shades of Grey“. Yes, it is supposed to be mindless mommy porn, but look, I’m reading it for the sake of being updated and current. Geez.

It’s nice to be able to talk about something other than PTA and playdates sometimes.

Moms need a life too.

It’s great to stay current and well rounded. Don’t shun new things just because you’re afraid to get your feet wet.

Ya never know, you might discover something you really enjoy
