Mom Can Burn Calories Without A Gym

With each of my sons’ birth, after 5 months, I noticed my extra baby weight just started dropping.

I nursed both of them so that helped.

But after reading this article, I realized it was just being busy with everyday mommy activities that played a major factor also.

I was an active mom and always on the go, but rarely got to the gym bc I always had my kids with me.

I didn’t really hit the gym til each son was a year old.

So, mommies, don’t fret if you can’t hit the Treadmill and free weights. Just enjoy spending quality time with your kids and staying busy.

Look at the number of calories you burn going about your everyday business. (All figures based on 30 minutes of activity for a 150-pound woman.)

Gardening: 184 calories

Sex: 144 calories

Walking/playing with kids: 135 calories

Ping-pong: 135 calories

Carrying an infant: 126 calories

Cooking: 108 calories

Playing guitar: 108 calories

Housework: 99 calories

Putting away groceries: 90 calories

Pushing a stroller: 90 calories

Packing a suitcase: 72 calories

Packing a suitcase: 72 calories

No excuses moms. The body you want is achieveable. Just put your mind to it and stay busy!
