Chivas USA is doing soccer clinics/camps around Los Angeles.
Mo recently attended one and I can’t tell you how impressed I was.
Chivas is raising soccer awareness and providing training to kids. The clinic was well worth the $5 price tag.
It was well organized, free food and drinks by sponsors, DJ from a local radio station, and top notch training for the kids.
Oh, and did I mention autographs and pictures from the ♥Chivas Girls and Chivas players♥?
The girls were sooooooo sweet and genuinely friendly, getting up from autograph signing to take photo after photo with the kids (in the heat…with NO attitude).
The Chivas players were also super nice. These guys were sooo cool with the kids. I almost forgot they were professional athletes.
Hmph….I can think of a few prima donna’s who could take note. Such class act athletes.
I was EXTREMELY impressed.
Mo learned some great drills and fundamental exercises to do at home to improve his speed, agility, and overall soccer skills.
The scrimmage with the other participants opened his eyes to see that he’s not the only budding Christiano Ronaldo. After playing with so many skilled soccer players, he definitely left the camp with a deep desire to improve his soccer game and work ethic.
Our Chivas experience will continue to live on…each child was given a free tshirt and complimentary passes to a future Chivas soccer game.
They have a few more clinics in the local LA area, if your child likes soccer, you should definitely sign up! The best 5 bucks I’ve spent in a long time.
