I love when I find a great blog.

Recently, I stumbled across Bakerella….OMG….it’s almost a better match than me and a Chloe Heloise bag.

Bakerella (A.KA. Angie Dudley) blogs about the most creative baked goods, in particular, CAKE POPS. Cake pops are my new love, and Bakerella makes the most amazing edible artwork. (Sidenote: Angie is a GEORGIA native, so I love love love that!)

Her blog shows detailed step by step instuctions and photos on how to create all her baked goodies: cake pops, cupcakes, cookies, cakes and so on. She’s the author of  Cake Pops: Tips, Tricks, and Recipes for More Than 40 Irresistible Mini Treats.

Bakerella has been featured in countless food magazines, websites, blogs, and tv shows. She’s even shown the baking goddess herself, Martha Stewart how to make cake pop creations.

Parents will get great ideas for a zillion things we will attempt to create for our kiddies that will never come out like her lovely photos. However, I have faith in a few of you moms that you can do it. My edible art never seems to pan out, so I have such a huge respect and admiration for women who can accomplish this.

Much love and respect to Ms. Bakerella who is currently on dialysis and in the hospital for a kidney transplant. Thank you for sharing your love of sweets and talent for making edible masterpieces of sugar.

Here are a few of her magnificent creations:
