Mommies at Golden Globes 2011

There are so many moms in Hollywood now. It almost seems tres chic to have kids in Tinseltown.

However, being a mom shouldn’t mean compromising style *gasp*.

I was very disappointed in the fashion frocks for many A-List mommies at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards.

Ladies, fire your stylists. Call me next time.

Thumbs down to:

I love Halle Berry, she is one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. Hate this dress though. Sheer train? Played out and tacky. Boustier top? Very Frederick’s of Hollywood. Too much skin for a natural beauty.

Note to Halle: you are gorgeous. No need to try so hard.

Angelina Jolie– Yes, everyone was happy she didn’t wear black as usual, but this reminds me of Little House on the Prairie glam.

It’s not pretty, and her hair looks trashy. Angie gets points for best accessory bc B-Rad was looking good again. Other than that, this whole look is wrong.

Christina Aguilera has a great voice, but I’m not feeling her fashion sense. Another case of mommy trying to be too sexy. The dress is pretty, but it’s not right for her.

OMG…this dress looks like all of Heidi Klum‘s kids threw up on her before she left the house. Yuck!!!

BATTLE OF THE BABY BUMPS:

Natalie Portman vs. Jane Krakowski:

Jane wins hands down. Classic and elegant. Nat looks like she strolled thru the Flower Mart and grabbed a souvineer.

*ALL LADIES TAKE NOTE, MY 2 FAVORITE BEST DRESSED AT THE 2011 GOLDEN GLOBES*

♥CLASSIC, ELEGANT, GLAMOUR♥

Modern Family beauty, Sofia Vergara is SHOW STOPPING in a beautiful Vera Wang. It’s form fitting yet doesn’t look skanky.

Thanks for holding it down for women who actually eat and have curves. Her figure is amazing, and her beauty is simple and classic. A+++

Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria looked AH-MAY-ZING in this class Zac Posen dress. Again, sexy without being skanky.

The back is breathtakingly beautiful.  Nothing like simple, classic beauty.

There you have it, my opinion that absolutely no one cares about. But I have no duty, obligations, endorsements, or deals with any major fashion houses so I feel no pressure to pretend certain dresses are pretty just because they are designed by “so and so”. Ugly is ugly, tacky is tacky, and beauty is beauty. I don’t really care who designs it, I just call it like I see it! Step it up mommies. You have to represent for the Hot Mamas out there.
