I love holiday music. I love my Bestie, Mariah.

So, it is a win-win jackpot that my  lifelong BFF is releasing her 2nd holiday album (and 13th studio album) today!!!!

I love decorating the tree with my boys and playing the Christmas tunes. This album is sure to be in heavy rotation. We also  carol to her 1st holiday cd, Merry Christmas, which has sold over 12 million copies.

Nothing gets me more in the mood for holidays than holiday music….well, thoughts of yellow diamonds, rose gold, and Chloe bags set the tone as well. However, Mariah is the best at holiday songs and spreading the holiday spirit. Even her website looks amazingly festive. Check out her site where you can hear some of the great tracks and watch holiday videos, and basically bow down to the #1 female singer of all time. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE MIMI!!!!

Her album, Merry Christmas II You, is a nice combo of holiday classics  plus 4 new tracks written by Mariah (because how many times do we really wanna sing Jingle Bells?!) Her amazing 5 octave vocal range  makes her renditon of Oh Holy Night my favorite EH-VER!!!  With producers Randy “American Idol” Jackson and Jermain “A-Town” Dupri, you can’t go wrong.

And since Mimi and her husband Nick will be welcoming their first child in Spring 2011, I am sure they will be extra cheery this Christmas season. Pick up this great Christmas album. There is something for everyone to enjoy!!!
